Meteor Shower Warrior
I'd just like to apologize in advance if there is already a build similar to this posted. Search was down and I could not find anything similar on the first few pages.
Profession: Warrior/Elementalist
Type: Mainly PvP, could work in PvE
Equipment:
Armor: Duelist Helm, Glad's Chest and legs, Knight's Boots, Stoneskin Gauntlets
Weapons: 15>50 sword with mods of your choice (I prefer Furious and I can't remember my other) and Fire Focus (I prefer the one with half casting and recharge).
Attributes:
Swordsmanship: 12+3+1
Strength: 3+1
Fire Magic: 12
Skills Set:
Frenzy
Sever Artery
Gash
Final Thrust
Savage Slash
Meteor Shower
Glyph of Energy {Elite}
Rez Sig
Summary: The purpose of this build is to knock an enemy down and keep them down. Meteor shower combined with Stoneskin gauntlets effectively shuts down hit targets for 9 seconds. When using this build, start out a match by attacking an enemy for the purpose of building adrenaline. Don't use this adrenaline yet unless you're about to die! Don't use Frenzy yet either. Once you have decnet adrenaline, switch to the target you want to attack. You normally shouldn't build your adrenaline off of your main target because if they're a caster they have a tendency to run and be hard to hit with meteor shower. Wait for your target to stop moving and use Glyph of Energy. They unleash Meteor shower on them. Activate Frenzy and hit them with Sever Artery, Gash, and Final Thrust while they're down. If somehow they survive, prepare to nail them with Savage Slash for their expected heal once they get up.
Notes & Concerns: This build can work fine with Glyph of Lesser Energy if there's another elite skill you want to implement. Be warned that once Meteor Shower is recharging you'll probably be weaker than most other warriors on the field. When using Meteor Shower get a target that isn't moving. If they run to the side during Meteor Shower's slight activation delay you could be in trouble.
Suggestions, comments, and criticism are always welcome. I haven't run this build for very long so I'm sure there are lots of changes that need to be made. Thanks in advance.

I know this isn't the most practical warrior build. I was just trying to find something that wasn't the typical W/Mo.

^I see someone brought their cookie cutter
more on topic, one potential problem you might have with this build is that with meteor shower, victims usually get a considerable amount of warning before the first knockdown. You might need a knockdown skill (like gale) of something else that impedes movement (like ice prison) to make sure your target stays around long enough to take some punishment rather than running off at the first sign of meteors.
That being said while this build could be devastating for 5 seconds out of every minute, I would worry about not having a self heal and having low damage output for the other 55 seconds.

Hmmmm....Ice prison isn't a bad idea. 0 Water Magic still slows them for 8 sec, because once meteor shower hits you're basically guranteed the kill.

I posted sumthin like this last week and it is now on 2nd page
Attributes:
Axe:15 (11+1+3)
Tactics:8 (7+1)
Strength: 3 (2+1)
Air: 5
Fire: 11
Skills:
Glyph of Energy (E)
Gale
Meteor Shower
Executioners Strike
"Fear Me!"
Healing Signet
Conjure Flame
Rez Siggy
Well, its pretty simple. Put up Conjure flame Find the monk. Cast Glyph of energy. Cast meteor shower. Cast Gale right after meteor shower. Cast Glyph of energy/gale and run around using fear me and executioners strike for awesome dmg. heal as needed
Have fun!

There is a good second after Meteor Shower is finished being cast before any damage will actually be dealt. The first meteor to hit doesn't knockdown, the second one does. Even if slowed to 50%, if your target is in the process of moving when the spell is finished being cast you will be out of harm's way by the time the second meteor hits. For Gale, take into account the aftercast of Meteor Shower and the one second for Gale and you better hope that your target wasn't again moving prior to the Galing.
If it manages to completely devestate them the first time it was cast, it might exhaust a res sig or two. Otherwise, it seems like a 60 second one trick pony. Without a speed buff or cancel stance for that Frenzy you're treading on danagerous ground as well.

it doesnt
the only character that can use meteor shower other than an ele is a ranger (spammable with glyph of sacrifice and oath shot), but even that is a waste since meteor shower never works (it's easilly dodgable even if one meteor has already hit).

Vindexus knows what he's talking about. If your looking for damage, you found the right class in W/E. But, I say this contructively, that build won't work outside random arenas; even there it will probably get you some critics. I like the spirit of the build, though...

Stoneskin Gauntlets work with any skill that doesn't have a set knockdown time, like Shock. It's still not a good reason to use Meteor Shower on a Warrior though.

Except skills like Thunderclap. You don't get 2 second knockdowns with that. Not sure what else doesn't receive the bonus (aside from the obvious 3+ second knockdowns).

bane you'll do more damage by just being a warrior. just hitting things does great damage. not good but great. so if you stop swinging your weapon for 5 seconds to cast meteor shower, it's less than productive. it's hurting your team to use that hog.
25 energy, 5 second cast, 60 second recharge. thats a bad skill for an ele primary imo.

Was fooling around with MS on a war with stoneskin gauntlets...
Well on the dummies, it has strange effects, sometimes, the 2nd "tick" doesn't knock all the dummies down, while still doing the damage.
And yeah, don't use MS, unless you're doing hamstorm =D

I love conjure flame . esp along with the burning blade build posted earlier. and switch out ViM for HB. There you have one of the most damaging builds available. And its fun

ya know, maybe just meteor would work fine...
MS takes too long and if the enemy isn't braindead, they'd interrupt you long before half the spell is done casting
then again, if they are braindead since warriors are 'supposed' to be ignored, who knows? maybe they'll get stomped into the ground from rocks from outerspace!
